2:21 p.m. Jan. 24 — Vehicles driven by Kirsten Walmsley, 17, and Karen Bonzer, 66, both of Grove City, collided at Stewart and West Main streets.
6:45 p.m. Sunday — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Route 173 just east of Walker Lane in Brady Township. The crash happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Brittani Genco, 18, of Freeland, Md., and a vehicle driven by Cody R. Smith, 25, of Butler collided. Smith and his passenger, Claressa M. McKnight, 25, of Butler suffered minor injuries.Police said Genco was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and driving with a badly worn tire.1 a.m. Sunday — A minivan driven by Samuel Kenly, 35, of Shelocta, Indiana County, crashed into several large rocks off Spithaler School Road in Forward Township. Police said Kenly was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.4 p.m. Saturday — Someone stole four light fixtures belonging to Keith Schubert of Butler from a residence along Route 422 East in Clearfield Township between 9:30 a.m. Jan. 17 and 4 p.m. Saturday. Those with information may call 724-284-8100.11 a.m. Saturday — While at the park-and-ride lot on Route 488 in Portersville between 6 a.m. Jan. 25 and 11 a.m. Saturday, an SUV owned by Kevin Cloutier of Butler sustained about $3,000 worth of damage.3:45 a.m. Saturday — James C. McKissick II, 22, of Butler was hurt when the car he was driving struck a tree along Old East Butler Road at Sherman Avenue in East Butler. Police said someone picked up McKissick, who suffered minor injuries, from the scene. Police said he was cited for failing to immediately notify police of an accident.4 a.m. Friday — Gregory Gargasz, 34, of Volant, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 58 in Marion Township.11:35 p.m. Thursday — An unknown burglar stole unspecified items in a break-in at the Jiffy Mini Mart on Route 8 in Center Township. The suspect got inside by smashing in the glass door.
Tuesday — An unknown thief stole assorted power tools worth $3,750 from a Templeton man’s construction trailer on Calhoun Road in Boggs Township. The theft happened between 6 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
