Butler Police4:06 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Eileen S. Stroup, 53, of Butler and a car driven by Todd A. Wuchevich, 44, of Butler collided on North Washington Street near West New Castle Street.

Butler Twp. PoliceBrooke Young, 18, of Sarver and a 17-year-old girl from Butler each were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after township officers were dispatched to Butler Vocational-Technical School for a report of students with marijuana.

State Police, Butler9:53 p.m. Friday — Paul K. Staley, 45, of New Kensington was arrested under suspicion of DUI and numerous traffic violations after the motorcycle he was riding crashed at the intersection of Benbrook and West Brewster roads. Both Staley and a girl who was a passenger suffered minor injuries. The girl was wearing a helmet.5:30 a.m. Friday — Someone damaged two mailboxes, a swing from a playground set and lawn lights belonging to homeowners along Station and Donahue roads in Connoquenessing Township. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.12:54 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Lisa L. Burney, 46, of Akron, Ohio, crashed into a sign at the Turnpike on-ramp from Interstate 79 in Marshall Township, Allegheny County. Burney suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Cranberry Township EMS to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.9:10 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Chelsea L. Fox, 20, of Erie crashed into an embankment along Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
