C. Earl Iman

Iman

C. Earl Iman, 77, of Freedom, formerly of Evans City, died Friday at his home.

Born May 30, 1929, in Evans City, he was the son of Clifton and Oaple Boyer Iman.

He retired in 1992 from the Mine Safety Appliance Co., Callery, after 43 years.

Mr. Iman had served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople, and Harmony Lodge 429 F&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Reidenbach Iman, whom he married Oct. 7, 1950; a son, Daniel E. Iman and his wife, Cindy, of Evans City; a daughter, Beth Painter and her husband, Richard, of Economy; and three sisters, Mary Lou Jones of Evans City, Lucy Mae Senn of Eagle River, Alaska, and Kay Cumberledge of Evans City.

Also surviving are two grandsons, Nathan Iman and his wife, Autumn, of Prospect and Joel Iman of Evans City.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Iman, who died Aug. 24, 2006.

<B>IMAN</B> — Friends of C. Earl Iman, who died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, 314 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. James Bertoti officiating.
