The Bryans in 1956

Kenneth and Donna Bryan of West Sunbury will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury.

The former Donna Pensy married Bryan on July 14, 1956, at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Claytonia.

They have five children, Gregory Bryan of Pittsburgh; Mark Bryan of Slippery Rock; Christine Lissard of Balmane, Australia; Eric Bryan of West Sunbury; and Robert Bryan of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Mr. Bryan is a retired postmaster in West Sunbury. He belongs to the Butler County Trap League and the Seniors Golf League and is a life member of the National Rifle Association. He is also a veteran of the Air Force.

Mrs. Bryan is retired from her job as a nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital. She enjoys flower gardening.

The couple belongs to St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, where Bryan is a lector and Mrs. Bryan is a Eucharistic minister. They enjoy traveling.
