Regis and Charlotte Rice

Regis and Charlotte Rice of Connoquenessing Township celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with an open house organized by their children at the Hidden Meadows clubhouse.

The former Charlotte Rape married Rice on June 16, 1956, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City.

They have two children, Barry Rice of Seminole, Fla., and Amy Kennedy of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Rice is retired from the Sprint telephone company. He enjoys golf and woodworking.

Mrs. Rice is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler Township. They enjoy reading and traveling.
