The Ambroses in 1956

Edward and Patty Ambrose of Cabot celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner in Monroeville.

The former Patty Thompson married Ambrose on July 5, 1956, at a Methodist church parsonage in Cabot.

They have two children, Edward Ambrose and Jeffrey Ambrose, both of Cabot.

They also have five grandchildren.Ambrose is retired from Moonlight Mushroom Farm.Mrs. Ambrose is retired from the South Butler School District.The couple belongs to Sarver Free Methodist Church.
