Homer and Dorothy Otterman

Homer and Dorothy Otterman of Concordia Lutheran Ministries will celebrate 65 years of marriage Aug. 9.

The former Dorothy McQueen married Otterman on Aug. 9, 1941, at the United Methodist Church in Freeport.

They have four children, Joyce Pratley of Dormont; Donna Saurers of Slidell, La.; Lewis Otterman of South Buffalo Township; and Jeff Otterman of Tampa, Fla.

They also have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Otterman retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel after 40 years. Aveteran of the Army, he served for three years during World War II.

Mrs. Otterman is a homemaker and former employee of Pittsburgh Plate Glass.

The couple belongs to Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.
