Russell and Mary Stanko of Fenelton will celebrate 40 years of marriage this month.

The former Mary Swartwout married Stanko on Aug. 13, 1966, at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

They have two children: Candis Porch of Butler and Cynthia Rivera of Daytona Beach, Fla.

They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. Stanko is retired from AK Steel. He enjoys hunting, reading and running.

Mrs. Stanko is a homemaker who provides care for her grandchildren. She enjoys gardening.

The couple belongs to St. John's Catholic Church in Fenelton.
