Clarence and Patricia Bishop

Clarence "Bud" and Patricia Bishop of Petrolia will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren Sunday at the Sons of Italy Club in East Brady.

The former Patricia Miller married Bishop on Aug. 24, 1956, at the United Presbyterian Church in Fairview.

They have four children, Lisa McElroy of Saxonburg, Michael Bishop of Pittsburgh, Lori Martin of Petrolia and Matthew Bishop of Karns City.

They also have 11 grandchildren.

Bishop is retired from Equifax. He is a member of the Chicora Moose Lodge.

Mrs. Bishop is retired from Witco.

The couple belongs to Fairview United Presbyterian Church, the St. Jude Golf Club and the Sons of Italy Club.
