Roenigk

Hazel Roenigk of Saxonburg celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family reunion at her family farm in Cabot.

The former Hazel Montgomery was born July 27, 1916, in Sarver.

She married Paul Roenigk on April 7, 1938. He is deceased.

She has six children, Virgina Shirey of Sarver, William Roenigk of Davidsonville, Md., Howard "Bud" Roenigk of Cabot, J. Richard Roenigk of York, Glenn Roenigk of New Freedom and Marijane Dillon of Erie.

She also has 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased.

Roenigk is a retired tax collector and notary public for Winfield Township, where she worked for more than 20 years.

She belongs to Buffalo Presbyterian Church and the Saxonburg Women's Club.
