Wood 60th anniversary
Charles and Gwendolyn Wood of Renfrew will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church in Zelienople.
The former Gwendolyn Turner married Wood on Aug. 14, 1946, at First Baptist Church in Evans City.
The couple has two children: Sheryl Fulkerson of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Carol Fulkerson of Harrison, Ohio.
The have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Mr. Wood is a retired certified public accountant and chief financial officer. He belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute.Mrs. Wood is a retired teacher and a Sunday school teacher at Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, where the Woods are members.
