The Steetles in 1956

John and Rhonna Steetle of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a trip to Canada.

The former Rhonna Phipps married Steetle July 7, 1956, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Debra Ann Burns and Barbara Steetle, both of Butler.

Steetle is retired from Pullman Standard. He enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.Mrs. Steetle is a former employee of Butler Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a unit clerk. She volunteers at Butler County Agency on Aging and Meals on Wheels, and she used to work at Butler County Children's Center.The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
