Dumbaugh 60th anniversary
Richard Sr. and Wilda Dumbaugh of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family luncheon at Red Lobster.
The former Wilda Ferne married Dumbaugh on Aug. 14, 1946, at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.
They have two children, Richard Dumbaugh Jr. and Sheila Abraham, both of Butler.
They also have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dumbaugh is a retired electrician with Ferne Electric. He is a member of Masonic Lodge 694, York Rite; Syria Shrine; Shrine Luncheon Club; IBEW 5; the Senior Golf League at Stoughton Acres; the Acacia Club; VFW; and the Butler County Horseshoe League.Mrs. Dumbaugh is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a nurse for 20 years. She is a member of Butler Artist Association and Butler Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.The couple belongs to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where they belong to the Homebuilder's Sunday school class. They are also lifetime members of Tanglewood Center.
