Schiedel

Martha Schiedel of Concordia Lutheran Ministries' Haven I Apartments in Cabot celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a visit to her family in Honeoye Falls, N.Y.

The former Martha O'Dell was born Sept. 21, 1916, in Chaffee, N.Y. She married Joseph Schiedel Oct. 4, 1947.

She has three children, Thomas Schiedel of Honeoye Falls; Margie Beskow of Stavanger, Norway; and Deborah Holmes of Great Barrington, Mass.

She also has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schiedel retired in 1947 from Capital Airlines and Borden Company. She served as a pharmacist mate, second class in the Navy during World War II.

Amember of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot, she enjoys playing bridge and bingo.
