Lorris

Jane Lorris of Concordia at the Orchard in Center Township, celebrated her 90th birthday Saturday. Lorris' grandson, granddaughter and other friends and relatives from across the country visited for a celebration dinner at Shakespeare's Restaurant.

The former Jane Kennedy was born Oct. 21 1916, in Butler. She married Steven Lorris, Aug. 2, 1946, in a ceremony performed by her brother. He is deceased.

She has three children, Nancy Lorris of East Lansing, Mich.; Mark Lorris of Byron Center, Mich.; and Carole Rafsetto of Barrington, Ill.

She also has two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lorris was a homemaker and former secretary. She is a member of the Woman's Club of Butler and the Friends of the Library.

She enjoys dining out with friends and attending concerts and theater events. Mrs. Lorris is a member of St. Andrews United Presbyterian Presbyterian Church.
