Bob and Marilyn Cranmer

Bob and Marilyn Cranmer of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage Saturday with a family dinner at Michael's Restaurant in Prospect. The couple will also celebrate with a vacation in February.

The former Marilyn Geibel married Cranmer Dec. 29, 1956, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have four children, Denise Kline and Carol Landgraf, both of Butler, Janine Montgomery of Portersville and Robert Cranmer Jr. of Hopewell.

They also have five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Cranmer is retired from Pullman Standard and Allegheny Axle. He enjoys hunting.

Mrs. Cranmer is a homemaker. She enjoys sewing and needlecrafts.

The couple belongs to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. They enjoy fishing.
