8:30 p.m. Thursday — James Patrick Palo, 20, of Erie, a Slippery Rock University student, was arrested after he was found possessing three marijuana smoking pipes in his apartment in Slippery Rock Township.Between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 4 p.m. Oct. 26 — Burglars entered Joshua Smith's home in Chicora and took two paintball guns and three carbon dioxide tanks.Between Tuesday and Thursday — Thieves removed catch basin grates from the intersection of Frazier Road and Dinnerbell Road and two locations on Golden City Road, all in Jefferson Township. The value of the grates is estimated at $710. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Butler.
