Donald and Margaret Greenway of Slippery Rock will celebrate 55 years of marriage Thursday.

The former Margaret Kniess married Greenway Feb. 14, 1953, at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.

They have five children, Pamela Nicholson of Front Royal, Va.; Laurie Roberts of Jefferson, Md.; Bradley Greenway and Amy Wendorf, both of Thurmont, Md.; and Daniel Greenway of Slippery Rock.

They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The Greenways are retired from Butler Diaper Service in Butler.
