Helen Jayne Barnes Kerr

Helen Jayne Barnes Kerr, 86, of Harmony, formerly of Ellwood City and Cranberry Township, died Friday at Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.

Born Sept. 18, 1920, in the Scott Ridge area of Jackson Township, Mrs. Kerr was the daughter of Clifford and Sina Marshall Graham.

She was a member of Lillyville Church of God and its Been There, Done That group.

She was a cook in many area restaurants, including Cully's in Ellport and Peach's in Pleasantville.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Barnes on Dec. 12, 1980; her second husband, Russell Kerr on Dec. 16, 1997; and a brother and sister.

She is survived by two sons, David E. Barnes of Ellwood City and Robert Barnes of Indiana; a daughter, Judith Boehm of Gibsonia; a brother, William Graham of California; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild.

<B>KERR — </B>Friends of Helen Jayne Barnes Kerr, who died Nov. 5, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>TURNER FUNERAL HOME, </B>Sixth Street at Parker Avenue, Ellwood City. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home's Ellwood City chapel with the Rev. Ron Follett officiating. Burial will follow at Lillyville Church Cemetery in Franklin Township.Memorial donations may be made to Lillyville Church of God, R.D. 2, Hickernell Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
