9:14 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Matthew Mitchell, 28, of Butler struck a parked car on Brown Avenue.11:23 a.m. Monday — Bryant K. Wells Jr., 20, of Pittsburgh, who was wanted on a warrant from Allegheny County, was arrested at a Center Avenue home. The warrant was issued for a probation violation.Police assisted Allegheny County probation officers, who suspected Wells was at the house in the 300 block of Center Avenue. Inside, the probation officers found Wells, who they claimed is a gang member in Pittsburgh. Authorities also found a scale and other drug contraband that allegedly belonged to Wells. Police charged Wells with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in Butler County Prison to await transport back to Allegheny County for the warrant.
Tuesday — Patricia L Crouch, 43, of Grove City was arrested on a bench warrant out of Venango County for failure to appear for a preliminary hearing.Monday — A thief on Sunday or Monday stole an Ohio license plate off a 2006 blue Chevrolet HHR parked in the 600 block of Stockton Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.11:55 p.m. Sunday — A 15-year-old girl was arrested after police found her partially nude and intoxicated in the parking lot of 111 Mill St. Police said the girl struggled with officers and repeatedly yelled profanities and kicked at the window of a Grove City patrol car. She is charged in juvenile court with resisting arrest, open lewdness, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.Friday — A Hewlett-Packard Elite laptop with serial number 2CE030012X was removed from Crawford Hall at Grove City College. The laptop was unattended at the time.
3:42 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kayla S. Morris, 18, of Slippery Rock went up an embankment and rolled over on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Morris was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.7:03 a.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by John F. Bowman, 40, of Slippery Rock rear-ended a car on Route 8 just south of Sunset Drive in Center Township. Scott M. Yanak, 22, of Pittsburgh, who was driving the car, was stopped for a deer on the road. The truck, after hitting the car, struck an embankment and rolled onto its driver’s side. Bowman was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.Friday — Police suspect David E. Kotchey, 18, of Cabot damaged four tires on a car parked at the Knoch High School parking lot in Jefferson Township. The vandalism, which occurred between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., caused $362 in damage. Kotchey faces a charge of criminal mischief.3:02 a.m. Dec. 4 — Lance L. Hess, 39, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Main Street in Slippery Rock.1:14 a.m. Dec. 3 — Ian Lark, 20, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Unionville Road in Center Township.</B>
