The Weigles in 1941

William and Phyllis Weigle of Cabot celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Weigle married the former Phyllis Cumberland on Aug. 11, 1941 in Winchester, Va.

They have four children, Gordon Weigle of Phoenix, Ariz., Susan Engwer of North Huntington, Kerry Weigle of Pittsburgh and Patricia Krason of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Weigle is retired from Armco, where he was a data processing adviser.Mrs. Weigle is a retired hairdresser.The Weigles belong to the North Street Christian Church of Butler.
