Darrel and Margie Hillwig

Darrel and Margie Hillwig of Bruin will celebrate 40 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bruin Fire Hall.

Hillwig married the former Margie Holliday on Feb. 11, 1972, at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Chicora.

They have two children, Michael Hillwig of Boston and Darcie Paule of Fenelton.

They also have three grandchildren.

Hillwig is retired from Indspec Chemical. He is a member of Bruin VFD.

Mrs. Hillwig is co-owner and florist for Hillwig’s Flower Corner in Chicora.

The Hillwigs are members of Bruin United Methodist Church.
