Rep. Kelly names art contest winners
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, has announced the winners of an art contest he held for students in his district.
Winners of the 2021 Pa.-16 Congressional Art Competition have their art displayed in the U.S. Capitol building.
Kelly displays the second- and third-place winners and the honorable mention pieces in the Washington, D.C. office.
Kelly thanked the students and art teachers who participated in the competition.
Student artists from Hickory High School in Hermitage, Mercer County took the top three spots in the competition.
Hayley Gallagher won first place with her artwork titled “Patton,” Nora Logue won second place with “Nature’s Mirror,” and Cynthia Torrence received third place for “A Different World.”
Honorable mention went to Bailey Grossman from Mercer Area High School for “Future.”
