The Drennens in 1948

Tom and Betty Drennen of Slippery Rock will celebrate 60 years of marriage April 30.

The former Betty Kelly married Tom Drennen April 30, 1948, in Slippery Rock.

They have four children, Timothy Drennen of Slippery Rock, Tom "Tucker" Drennen of Niwot, Colo., Tara Pizor of Slippery Rock, and Tamara Miller of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Drennen is retired from working as the Slippery Rock postmaster. He is a World War IINavy veteran and an American Legion member.

Mrs. Drennen is a homemaker, a World War II Army veteran and Auxiliary member.

The Drennens are members of North Liberty United Presbyterian Church.
