Vincent T. Kunz
Vincent T. Kunz, 84, of Butler died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1926, in Shaler Township, Allegheny County, he was the son of Alphonse J. and Gertrude (Becker) Kunz.
He was a master mechanic.
He was a member of the Army Air Corps in World War II in the European Theater.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the VFW in Millvale and the Moraine Pilots. He enjoyed fixing anything that needed fixed.
He was an avid volunteer at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his sons, Vincent J. Kunz of Mars and Kevin C. Kunz of Butler; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Ezell, Billy Joe Ezell, Christian Benjamin, Tyler Benjamin, Austyn Tiepelman and Kaeden Ezell; his brother, Francis Kunz of Baden; his sister, Joann Moore of Missouri; and many loving nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death were his wife, Charlotte M. (Rothmeyer) Kunz; his parents; and his siblings, Marcella Frieburg, Joseph Kunz, Gertrude Krebs, Sylvia Lager, Rita Gross, William Kunz, James Kunz and Anna Marie Straw.
<B>KUNZ </B>— Friends of Vincent T. Kunz, who died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Semler officiating.
