Tuesday — Tiffany Rose Mullen, 21, of Butler is accused of stealing a wallet from a neighbor's home on Kaufman Drive. The residents had allowed Mullen into the house after she asked to use their telephone, a police report said.Police said they later spoke to the accused, who first denied then admitted taking the wallet, which was returned to its owner. Mullen is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

Sunday — Kristopher W. Verderber, 20, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of his running vehicle parked in a Madison Avenue parking lot. Police said Verderber also was cited for underage drinking.

Monday — Police filed charges against an Adams Township woman after she allegedly skipped out of paying for a three-day stay at Conley's Resort on Route 8.Kristen Leigh Fortier, 29, is accused of leaving behind a bill of $1,095.70, assessed for a room rental, food and other charges at the facility during her stay between July 29 and 31.Fortier is charged with a first-degree misdemeanor count of theft of services.
