Colligan 60th anniversary
James and Margaret Colligan of East Brady celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Days Inn.
Colligan married the former “Peggy” Irwin on Jan. 26, 1952, at the St. Eusebius Catholic Church in East Brady.
They have six children, Chris Gizienski of Saxonburg, James Colligan Jr. of Butler, Joe Colligan of Van Nuys, Calif., Bruce Colligan of Peoria, Ill., John Colligan of East Brady and Tim Colligan of Sligo.
They also have 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Colligan is retired from the Pennsylvania and Conrail Railroads, where he was a machinist.
Mrs. Colligan is retired from the Butler County Mushroom Farm.
The Colligans are members of St. Eusebius Catholic Church.
They also lived several winters in St. Petersburg, Fla.
