CABOT — A Grief Share support group is starting at Cabot United Methodist Church, 707 Winfield Road.

Grief Share support groups are led by people who understand and want to help.

Grief Share meetings will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 26 to May 14 in the church library.

ALLISON PARK, Allegheny County — The Butler Spinners and Weavers Guild will offer daylong, hands-on classes in weaving at the Depreciation Lands Museum, 4743 S. Pioneer Road, in March.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, “Weaving on Harness Looms for the Very Beginner”

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 23, “Exploring Weave Structure in Harness Looms.”

Prepaid registration is required. Class sizes are limited.

CABOT — The eighth annual Wild Game Potluck Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Cabot United Methodist Church, 707 Winfield Road.

Participants are encouraged but not required to take a dish to share. Take mounts, pictures and hides to decorate the space.

Proceeds will benefit Camo Cares, an organization that raises funds to send children with terminal illnesses and disabled veterans on their dream hunts.

[naviga:h3]Wigton massacre subject of talk[/naviga:h3]

SAXONBURG — Brad Pflugh will be the guest of the March 4 meeting of the GFWC Saxonburg District Woman’s Club at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Main St.

Pflugh will discuss his book “Rage, Murder and Execution!” about the Wigton Massacre near Slippery Rock beginning at 7:45 p.m.

Pflugh is a board member of the Butler County Historical Society, head of the history department at Knoch High School, Butler County Community College professor and author.

The meeting is open to the public.
