10:51 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Candace Grey, 19, of Butler struck a parked vehicle along Zeigler Avenue owned by Virginia McGrath of Butler. Grey was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

7:55 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Deanna Shulik, 64, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Ashley Martin, 24, of Connellsville collided along Route 8 near the Greater Butler Mart entrance. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries, and Shulik was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.

1:30 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Clayton Halfhill, Jr., 25, of Butler crashed and rolled onto its side along Fisher Road in Jefferson Township. Halfhill was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and several summary violations.11:20 a.m. Thursday — Someone broke into a Rieger Road home in Franklin Township, stealing a PlayStation 3 gaming system, a Sony DVDplayer and a remote-control snowmobile belonging to Joseph Valensky. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9 a.m. Wednesday — Someone drove through the corn crops and fields owned by Cooper's Farm on Lindey Road in Brady Township between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday, causing $3,000 damage.Monday — Someone stole catalytic converters off of a vehicle belonging to Francesco DiDomenico of Butler and a truck belonging to Steven Leo of Harmony while the vehicles were parked at Foreign Tech Auto on Kreiss Road in Connoquenessing Township between Sept. 19 and Monday. Anyone with information may call police at 724-284-8100.

4:20 p.m. Friday — Someone in a white, 4-door car with black mirrors and tinted windows attempted to lure two juvenile females into the vehicle along Route 488 near Heinz Camp Road in Perry Township, driving off when the pair ran into a residence screaming for help. Two white males were in the front seat of the car and possibly two children in the back. Anyone with information can call police at 724-284-8100.

10:19 p.m. Sept. 14 — A car driven by Brenda Marie Klingensmith, 30, of Worthington crashed and rolled onto its roof along Yellow Dog Road near Quinn Lane in West Franklin Township. Klingensmith was charged with driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was not injured.
