Gail E. Stuckie Snyder
Gail Eilene Stuckie Snyder, 65, of Ceder Grove, N.C., went to be with the Lord on Nov. 27 at her home surrounded by her family after a three-year battle with cancer.
Born July 1, 1943, in Butler, she was the daughter of Betty M. Wagner Stuckie of Butler and the late Floyd H. Stuckie.
She was a 1962 graduate of Butler High School, a member of the Butler VFW Post 249 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Butler.
Gail was known for her unique crafts, sewing and crocheting. She formerly worked at Bobbie Brooks.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Snyder, whom she married Dec. 19, 1974; two daughters, Denise Whetzel of Spotsylvania, Va., and Kandi Snyder of Hillsboro, N.C.; a son, Robert G. Snyder of Rougemount, N.C.; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Marcia (Alan) Tompkins of Tennessee and Diann (Dennis) Morse of Slippery Rock.
<B>SNYDER</B> — A memorial service for Gail Eilene Stuckie Snyder, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 207 Staley Ave., Butler.
