George R. Fiel
George R. Fiel of Cedarburg, Wis., passed away Sept. 2 at the age of 65.
George was born Dec. 14, 1942, to the late George R. and Clara (nee Rape) Fiel and married Erika "Muschi" (nee Stadelmaier) July 21, 1967.
George had a master's in business administration, was a veteran of the Army, worked for Eastman Kodak Co. for 20 years and then became an accomplished entrepreneur, founding Image Systems.
He was a pioneer in the graphic arts industry, being a leader in technology and an adviser. He also was a world traveler, genealogy enthusiast, member of the Cedarburg Lions Club, Meekwon Men's Golf League and a community volunteer.
If you tried to locate him, he was just a call away or a block away as his favorite pastime was cruising around town.
He is survived by his wife, Erika "Muschi" (nee Stadelmaier); children Ulrike Fiel, Tina (Dave) Hahn and Tanya (JJ) Loose; grandchildren Michelle, Gabby, Tuesday, Ava, Diezel and Cal; and sisters Patricia McCullough, Linda Kreischer and Deborah Fiel. He was the dear brother-in-law of Marlene (Helmuth) Jung; and uncle to Andrea and Martina. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
<B>FIEL</B> — Funeral services for George R. Fiel, who died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, were held Sunday at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, with visitation prior to the service.
