Jean Baxter

Jean Baxter, 89, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at home.

Born Aug. 15, 1934, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Craig G. and the late Ruth (Thompson) Saul.

In addition to this, she not only raised her four children, but helped in raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean managed Baxter's Mobile Home Park for much of her life. She enjoyed going to the casino to play slots and was an animal lover. Jean was single-handedly responsible for feeding and spaying many stray animals that would venture to her home. Above all else, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who absolutely adored her grandchildren.
