Butler County state liquor stores net 5.1% year-over-year increase
Liquor sales in Butler County slightly increased during the 2022-23 fiscal year, according to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s annual report.
From July 2022 through June 2023, liquor stores in Butler County totaled over $46.11 million in sales, an increase of 5.1% over the $43.87 million in sales from the prior 12-month period. In all, Butler County accounted for 1.82% of all alcohol sales in the state of Pennsylvania.
During the 2022-23 fiscal year, whiskey was the most lucrative type of alcohol to be sold in Butler County liquor stores, netting $12.16 million in sales. This was followed by vodka, with $7.28 million, then red table wine, with $6.44 million.
