Carl Bian Forrester, 93, of Prospect passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday morning.

He was born Feb, 5, 1915, in Prospect and was the son of Bian and Lottie Liese Forrester.

He was a farmer and ginseng grower in Prospect. For 10 years, he was a self-employed steel truck driver.

He was a Presbyterian.

He enjoyed trapping and hunting.

He is survived by two sons, Dale Forrester of Prospect and William Forrester of Florida; one daughter, Ruby Forrester of Georgia; five grandchildren, Brian Forrester, Gary Forrester, Sally Shannon, Melissa Kutz and Terry Farrell; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy McClymonds of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Forrester, who passed away Dec. 23, 1996; one son; and three brothers.

<B>FORRESTER</B> — Friends and relatives of Carl B. Forrester, who died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
