Richard Stewart Henry, 61, passed away on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

He was born on July 20, 1962, in Butler, to the late Darlene Alice McCurdy (David) and Ray Dayton Henry.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Melody DeAngelo Henry, and daughters, Sara Henry and Kelsie Henry, all of Myrtle Beach. Also surviving are sons, Jacob Henry, Chase Henry, Levi Henry and Noah Henry; sister, Raylene (Neil) Huffman; stepfather, David McCurdy; and stepbrothers, Bill McCurdy and Todd McCurdy, all of Butler. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Tatum and Dayton Henry, and Cameron, Emilee and Justin Henry, all of Myrtle Beach; and six great-grandchildren.

If you knew Richard, you knew he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Richard loved spending time with his family and his late dog, Dexter. He enjoyed working on cars; playing golf; woodworking; watching TV shows, especially Bones and Castle; listening to music; and watching poker.

HENRY — At the family’s request, there will be no funeral service held at this time for Richard Stewart Henry, who died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
