Anne M. Smuch
Anne M. Smuch, 91, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Prospect, died Saturday as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Butler and was the daughter of Joseph and Fannie Maletz Kosar.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Zayre store in Butler and the Butler Spaide Shirt factory.
She was a Catholic and had attended the Grace Community Church in Cranberry Township. She was a member of the Evans City Senior Center.
She was a devoted and beloved grandmother whose heart was filled with love and pride for her grandsons with whom she loved spending time. She also loved doing crossword puzzles and playing bingo.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Beverly) Regal of Butler and Barb Smuch of Cranberry Township, with whom she made her home; two grandsons, Steven Regal of West Virginia and Michael Regal of Butler; a sister, Mary Turk of Butler; a brother, Steve Kosar of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Dennis Smuch; a grandson, Jim Regal; seven brothers; and a sister.
<B>SMUCH </B>— The wishes of Anne M. Smuch, who died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, were to have a private family visitation and funeral service. Burial was Wednesday at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Butler with Pastor Tim Holman officiating.Arrangements were by the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B> in Prospect.
