Zoe Heitzenrater
Zoe Breanne Heitzenrater, 24, of Prospect, passed away on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.
Born Jan. 12, 2000, in Butler, she was the daughter of Christopher Heitzenrater and Amanda Eckstein.
Zoe was a 2018 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She was an adventurous soul, always up for a spontaneous road trip, camping, concerts and amusement parks. Spending time at McConnells Mill State Park hiking and hanging out with her friends was a favorite pastime. Her laugh and smile could change the mood of any room. Her sense of humor and quick-wittedness kept everyone who knew her on their toes. Zoe had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a hand or help others anyway she could. She was a friend to anyone she met. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Zoe will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
Zoe leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Christopher (Jessica) Heitzenrater of East Butler and Amanda (Matt) Eckstein of Prospect; her siblings, Ian Heitzenrater, serving the U.S. Navy in Naples, Italy, Jake Heitzenrater, Mason Heitzenrater and Natalie Fitzpatrick, all of East Butler, and Britney (Connor) Probeck of Cabot; her grandparents, Susan Heitzenrater of Hooker and Jake and Wendy Heitzenrater of Greenville; her great-grandfather, James Walker of Tennessee; her aunt, Missie Bowser of Butler; her uncles, Mark Shoup of Parker and Ray Shoup of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and her loving fur kid, Bella.
HEITZENRATER — Friends of Zoe Breanne Heitzenrater, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 4 p.m. Saturday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew. Pastor David Saylor will officiate.
