Brenenborg

Blase Brenenborg, 61, of Saxonburg, passed away on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born Jan. 31, 1962, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert A. Brenenborg and Esther Fries Brenenborg.

Blase drove tri-axle dump trucks and also worked as a machinist at Spreng Machine Company. Blase enjoyed golf, but mostly enjoyed being home with his wife and animals. Blase was a beloved husband, brother, friend and confidant to many. He will be deeply missed.

Surviving are his loving wife, Robin Brenenborg, whom he married May 9, 1987; his siblings, Donald (Joyce) Brenenborg, Bonnie (Scott) Swaney, Faye (Lawrence) Riley and Claire (Stephen) Tuzikow; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats, Mango, Daniel, Beefer and Blossom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joann Brenenborg; and his beloved yellow Labradors, Daisy and Daphny.

BRENENBORG — Friends of Blase Brenenborg, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
