Carol Ann Spiering, 58, of Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County, died Tuesday in her home.

She was born in Kittanning on Sept. 30, 1950, and has been a resident of Allegheny Township for the past 22 years. She previously lived in Worthington.

Mrs. Spiering was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and was the owner and proprietor of the C & T Mini Mart, Allegheny Township, for the past 12 years. Prior to that, she worked as supervisor and crew leader for Moonlight Mushrooms.

She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and bingo.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Timothy Daniel Spiering; a daughter, Deborah L. Davenport of East Franklin Township; three grandchildren, Christopher D., Corey J. and Courtney L. Schiano; two stepdaughters, Julia and Stephanie Spiering; three brothers, Donald (Donna) Mansfield of Ohio, Gregory (Reneé) Pachol of Ohio and Steven (Beth) Vojtilla of Sarver; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Mansfield and Mildred "Millie" Flanders Mansfield Vojtilla; a sister, Diana Pachol; and her stepfather, Steven "Becker" Vojtilla.

<B>SPIERING</B> — Friends of Carol Ann Spiering, who died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, will be received from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, Lower Burrell. A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell.Information also is available at www.RusiewiczFH.com.
