June Reddick

Reddick

June Reddick, 86, formerly of Third Street, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Oct. 18, 1923 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John A. Greer and Garnet Goughler Greer.

Mrs. Reddick had been a salesperson at the Butler Kmart in the photography department, retiring in 1988 after 15 years.

She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, where she was an active volunteer.

Mrs. Reddick is survived by one sister, Emma M. Miller of Butler; two nieces, Valerie June Burke of Fredericksburg, Va., and Patty Stevenson of Butler; one great-nephew, Patrick Stevenson of Butler; and two great-nieces, Allison Carinci of Fredericksburg, Va., and Karissa Stevenson of Butler. A number of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Reddick was preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Reddick, who passed away June 1, 1969. She also was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

<B>Reddick</B> — By request of the family, there will be no public visitation for June Reddick, who died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the First English Lutheran Church with the Rev. James W. Dollhopf of the First English Lutheran Church officiating.
