George Kuhns

George Lee Kuhns, 70, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at his residence.

He was born May 31, 1953, in Ellwood City, the son of the late George Allen Kuhns and Ruth (Forsythe) Kuhns.

He had worked for road maintenance for the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Surviving are his son, Joel Kuhns of Denver, Colo.; five sisters, Berneice (Blair Weitzel) Bogan of Valencia, Katherine (Daniel) Schuller of Butler, Donna (Randy) Stoops of Renfrew, Lou Ann (Michael DeAngelo) Sacco of Butler and Nancy (Hugh McCormick) Kuhns of Butler; three brothers, Allen (Juanita) Kuhns of Utica, Jack (Alice) Kuhns of Butler and Terry (Cindy) Kuhns of Worthington; a sister-in-law, Nancy Kuhns of Valencia; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly Reddick-Kuhns; two brothers, Duane Kuhns and Richard Kuhns; and a sister, Lisa Kuhns.

KUHNS — Services and burial for George Lee Kuhns, who died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
