Kuss

Mary Lou Kuss, 80, of Mars, passed away on Monday afternoon, Jan. 15, 2024, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Pittsburgh on July 28, 1943, she was the daughter of Frank and Dolores Krummert Caye.

Mary Lou was a silk screener for Miller Screen and Design in Mars.

She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Martin J. Kuss, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1960; a daughter, Sandra Lazar of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Mark Kuss (Angela) of Westford, Pa., and James Kuss of Hudson, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Nancy Coleman of Wexford, Charlene McStay of Ross Township and Karen Peterman of Mercer.

KUSS — Friends of Mary Lou Kuss, who died Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.
