Donald E. Park, 98, of Medina, Ohio, formerly of Butler, passed away on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at the Western Reserve Masonic Community.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1925, in Valencia, to the late Howard R. Park and the late Alice N. Logan.

Donald was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Denver. He worked as an aircraft inspector for United Airlines, retiring on March 1, 1988. Donald was a member of Meridian Presbyterian Church.

Donald is survived by his wife, Pearl E. (Hilliard) Park; son, Howard D. Park (Cheryl); and grandson, David N. Park.

PARK — Friends and family of Donald E. Park, who died Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A military service with full honors will take place immediately after the visitation, followed by a funeral service, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Franklin, of Meridian Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Meridian Presbyterian Church.
