Agnes E. VanDyke, 96, of Butler, formerly of Prospect, died Saturday evening Dec. 30, 2023, at Concordia At The Orchard in Butler.

Agnes was born in Butler, on June 24, 1927, and was the daughter of Carl and Bertha Dietrich Angerett. She was Presbyterian by faith and she loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Lola Hoffman of Butler and Deborah (Terry) McCormick of Renfrew; three stepchildren; two sisters, Velma Bauer and Linda (Tom) Woodhead; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Agnes was preceded in death by two husbands; two brothers; two sisters; one grandson; and one brother-in-law.

The family would like to thank Concordia at the Orchard for their excellent care of Agnes.

VANDYKE — As per her wishes, a private family visitation for Agnes E. VanDyke, who died Saturday Dec. 30, 2023, was held on Thursday at JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, Prospect. A funeral service followed with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial took place Friday at the Greenlawn Burial Estates and Mausoleum in Butler.
