L. Joan Bello

L. Joan Bello, 77, of 2028 Caldwell Corners Road, Brookville, died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Nov. 10, 1930, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of John Edward Morgan and Lourena Lenhardt Morgan.

She was the widow of Frank A. Bello, who died Nov. 4, 2003. They were married Oct. 4, 1951, in Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Bello worked as an operator for the Bell Telephone Co.

She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Sigel. She also was a member of the Order of the Easter Star 320, Brookville Chapter; past matron of the Jesse C. Spangler, Jephthah Chapter; and a member of the Care Nurture Committee and Women's Circle of Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a son, Frank A. Bello III and his wife, Adrienne, of Allison Park; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Jonalyn) Diulus of Butler and Jodi A. Bello and her husband, Bear Taylor of Pittsfield; a sister, M. Patricia Morgan of Maryland; and five grandchildren, Frank A. Bello IV, Anthony N. Bello, Nicholas J. Bello, Christy J. Diulus-Barron and Julie K. Biasucci.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in by a grandson, Anthony Diulus, and a sister, D. Jacqueline Morgan Johnston.

<B>BELLO</B> — Visitation for L. Joan Bello, who died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>McKinney Funeral Home</B>, 345 Main St., Brookville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Boyd Edmondson officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Eldred Township, Jefferson County.
