Deborah Almont

Deborah “Debs” Sue Frady Almont, 67, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on May 20, 1956, in Culver City, Calif., to the late John Huey Frady and Ruby Thelma Farmer Stephenson.

Debs graduated from Upland High School in Upland, Calif., attended Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Wash., and received an associate of technical arts degree in December of 2000 and an office technology certificate in December 1999. She liked reading, documentaries, genealogy, listening to music and taking pictures of nature or anything else that caught her eye. But most of all, just enjoyed her life to its fullest in loving her family and wonderful friends.

Debs is survived by her partner, Gary L. Monks Sr.; two sons, Craig M. Frady and Shane (Renee) L.F. Smith of both of Tacoma, Wash.; Amber (Nick Jones) Jean Doyle, of Toccoa, Ga.; three grandchildren, Austin Michael, Lawrence Smith and Kara Joelina Jones; two brothers, Raymond C. Hair of Newport, Wash. and Randy T. Hair of Newport, Wash.; one sister, Donna L. Woskow of Tacoma, Wash.; three nieces, Fauna Shannon, and Misty; and two nephews, Brady A. Bell and Joshua D. Sullivan.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, David G. Woskow, of Tacoma, Wash.

ALMONT — There will be no services for Deborah “Debs” Sue Frady Almont, who died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or the Alzheimer's Association, 2835 E. Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

Arrangements are under the direction of THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
