Kenneth Edward McFarland, 56, of Zelienople, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023.

Born Sept. 19, 1967, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Charles McFarland and Lois Shirey McFarland.

Ken was employed by the Manheim Auto Action. He will be remembered for his love of grilling and smoking meat and his love for cars. Ken will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends.

Ken leaves behind to cherish his memory his fiancée, Sharron Abbarno; his sister, Cathy McFarland; his cousins, Jennifer (Shawn) Bennett of Mars, Jimmy (Christie) Kress of North Carolina and Logan Bennett of Mars; and his aunt, Judy (Chris) Kress.

MCFARLAND — Friends of Kenneth Edward McFarland, who died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Thursday, with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating.
