Veselich

Irene N. Veselich, 89, of Saxonburg, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, while under the care of Life Butler County.

She was born July 18, 1934, in Karns City, a daughter of the late Frank and Emma DelPonte Dellana.

Irene was employed at Magnetics in East Butler for 41 years and also at Sam’s Club for seven years.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Irene is survived by two children, Robert Veselich and his wife, Brenda, of Butler and Lisa Kastelic of Upper Burrell; six grandchildren, Casey, Toby, Nick, Lily, Luke and Olivia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Veselich; one brother, Gino Dellana; and one sister, Olivia Herman. Another brother, Olivio Dellana, died in infancy.

The Veselich family thanks the caregivers of Life Butler County for the excellent care, love and compassion they showed Irene in the last year of her life.

VESELICH — Private funeral services for Irene N. Veselich, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, and burial in Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
