Paula Bauer
Paula M. (Hempfling) Bauer, 70, of Butler, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023.
She was born in Butler, on July 7, 1953, to the late Paul and Dorothy (Hutchison) Hempfling.
No one loved life and her family like she did. Paula loved to garden, help as many people as she could and talked to as many as possible about the salvation of Jesus, like on her missionary trip to Romania.
Paula loved her family so much and put their needs in front of her own. She was so proud of her son, and her smile lit up the room when she talked about her grandchildren, whom she loved more than her own life. She was the best sister in the world and the glue to her siblings. She was best known as Aunt Paula, aka second mom, to her many nieces and nephews, and Miss Paula to all the children she taught at North Street Christian Church.
Paula was the beloved mother of Tim Bauer; sister of Richard, Edward, Rob (Sandy) Hempfling, Darlene (Calvin) McClymonds and Becky (Wayne) Harris; and grandmother of Alex, Sophia and Griffin Bauer. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and her dog, Milo.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her dog, Robo.
