Mary Beitch of Butler celebrates her 95th birthday today. Afamily gathering is planned at the home of her daughter, with whom she resides.

The former Mary Kanishak was born Oct. 10, 1911 in Lyndora. She married Nicholas Beitch on Nov. 25, 1933. He is deceased.

She has a daughter, Patricia Flanigan of Butler.

She also has three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Another grandson is deceased.

Mrs. Beitch enjoys reading and weekly shopping trips.

She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and a former member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.
